Are you looking for a good GPS like the Garmin Rino Radio 120? I know you are! This unit is by far a one-of-a-kind GPS navigation and 2-way communication device that should be in everyone's possession. If you do a lot of driving, hiking, hunting, and / or fishing this is the right tool to bring along. It comes with lots of memory to download extremely detailed maps of the outdoors. It is a dream gadget suitable for just about anything you can imagine.

I just went through search because I needed to improve my outdoor navigator skills. Maybe you feel the same way as I did several months ago when I was in need of a reliable GPS radio. The fact is a reliable unit make you feel incredible in the outdoors. The 120 is loaded with so many features that I am learning about each day. The greatest benefits to me is having a gps and radio incorporated into one unit. This gives you less to carry. You will benefit in many ways: The Rino 120 is an upgrade from the etrex.

The Garmin Rino Radio 120 GPS works fantastic. It works great with my Motorolas. I can easily send my position to another Garmin Rino user using the GMRS range hassle-free. I like the Position Reporting. This feature is extremely important for me. There are so many potential uses for this PR feature -- too many to mention here. It works just like a military operations tool. It has search & rescue capabilities that I use to round up my family when we are on outdoor trips.

I am really happy with the other features, like the moving map, an alarm clock, and calender. After the initial position fix set up, I found that be satellite acquisition is much quicker than my old GPS device. Between SA being switched off and the new WAAS system, I have been able to achieve incredible positioning accuracy of anywhere from 7 - 9 feet.

The unit is light and compact, which I really appreciate. The battery usage is not as bad as I had figured. Overall I think that the 120 is a fantastic new tool, with great new set of features. It is fairly cheap for a mapping GPS and it comes at a great price for a unit that has both a radio and gps. And did I mention the Garmin Rino 120 price is a real steal. The features are well worth the money.
