There is no sacrifice in living frugal in an RV. This lifestyle is enjoyed by many many people who find it rewarding and fun.
The current economy is not the best, causing many to reconsider their retirement plans. Lots of folks have seen their 401K turn into a 150K.
Consider living frugal in an RV as a way to still retire to a lifestyle that is a lot of fun. I heard one RVer say it well..."I don't care where I live as long as I have a steering wheel in the living room." I met him and his wife in Yellowstone National Park where they worked in the summers. They had been full time RVing, and loving it, for 10 years at the time.
So if 2008 and 2009 have sent you lemons...living frugal in an RV is a great way to make lemonade from the cards you are dealt.
You can use RV living as a means to find your permanent retirement home. We chose Arizona after RVing for six years. It took us all six years to examine all of our retirement options. Therefore, living in an RV is a great way to prevent making an costly mistake. You can use the RV to thoroughly check out where you are going to retire.
Living frugal in an RV is easy with no sacrificing. You can travel where you want without incurring large motel bills. You are bringing your motel with you...and you never have to pack and unpack, all your stuff is with you.
If you find certain places you really enjoy, you will spend more time at each of your favorite spots. This is a money saver since parks will give you a big discount for a stay of a month or more. $500 a month is usually doable as an average monthly price. That is equal to 3 to 4 nights in a motel.
Consider living frugal in an RV as a great way to retire and have fun. Enjoy, see you on the road.
