The enthusiasm of last year's event prompted the sponsors to add an additional day to the tournament.
There are five days during the months of February through May when they host the Lake Fork Team Trail Tournament. Only two people to a team are allowed. They can bring photos back of the fish for consideration as winners if they cannot catch one with a length of at least 24 inches to bring back in. They receive their official photo cards when they register and have their cameras inspected before going on the lake. Bringing in the winning fish or photo of the winning fish will earn them $500.
The first World Championship Bass Fly Fishing Tournament will be held this year. The month of May has been the chosen month to conduct this event. Fishing is not limited to a boat. You can also use a float tube, pontoon or from the shoreline. Twelve hundred dollars is the purse for first place.
